To Spitikon Tavern — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

The food was always impecable! We were here in Poros for 10 days and ate in this restaurant 7 times. Both of the waiters were always super kind and caring. Over the time we had the Kefalonian Dako, Tzatziki, Bread, Potato Salad, Greek Potato & Garlic Mash, Stuffed Vegetables, Tomato - Cucumber Salad, Kefalonian Meat Pie, Moussaka and I almost always ate the eggplants with Parmesan 10 out of 10! (you can also get it with feta) and it was delicious. The only thing I wasn't the biggest fan of was the fried cheese but I think that's personal taste. I usually don't write reviews but this restaurant really deserved it.

1 star for the octopus vinegar. Everything that we ordered was edible but quite bad. Mousaka - seems to be some kind of local variant, reinterpretated. The tavern is on the side of the road, there are a few options nearby, criteria was to have a free tabel for all of us. Not a great experience. The score might reflect maybe another menu or another chef, but it is not a 4.5 by any kind...

To Spitikon is such a hidden gem! The tzatziki here is hands down the best I've ever had, and the sea brass was the most buttery, soft, and flavorful I've tasted all summer.
