If you are looking for the best food in Kefalonia then look no further. Sitting right by the Ionian Sea you have the choice of wonderful traditional Greek food. I chose the Cheese Saginaki for my starter and the filo pastry was light and crisp and the cheese was perfectly gooey and creamy. For my main I choose the Chicken Slouvaki. Excuse me while I just relive that meal… I got food envy from my past self. The chicken was succulent and it was well seasoned. The pitta bread was soft and warm, hard to find something that’s not just been sat waiting in an oven, this was clearly freshly cooked. I wouldn’t just take my word for it, come and check it out...

An absolute gem of a restaurant. This is by a large margin the best food we have experienced in Kefalonia since we have been here. The starters were cooked fresh, the flavour in the sauce of the ‘drunk pork’ was sublime. The fillet of chicken a la crème was cooked to perfection. Fantastic food. The meat served is always fresh and tastes amazing. Staff are very friendly and the place is buzzing with locals calling in for their meal from the grill. Steki means place to hang out or place where one can be found. I was found there often. Nothing is too much trouble. Expect to wait for your freshly cooked food.
