This restaurant is absolutely beautiful with its high ceilings, colorful exterior, and intricate decor. A friend and I both shared the XXL Chicken Souvlaki (not pictured). It was a very big plate of food that you're able to share among two people for only 10 euros. It came with chicken with sauce on top, paprika seasoned fries, pita bread, and lettuce. The only complain I have is that the chicken was a bit dry but I would recommend ordering something from their daily dish menu as they are always fresher! We also got mojitos and Fanta blue (non-carbonated). The mojitos were very delicious and well-crafted. We had gotten the Sfakian pie as a appetizer which was very delicious for people with a sweet tooth! We ended off our meal with the Banoffee dessert which was an amazing treat and delight. The Banoffee had lots of different flavors that compliment each other to make you crave more of this delicious sweet! Our server was very nice and helpful with recommendations! Would...
Read moreThe food is so good and the staff is so warm and friendly that even if you came here with a broken heart, you would leave happy and well fed. We actually stumbled upon this restaurant on our first day in Athens and we ended up having dinner here every single night throughout our stay. We tried about half of their wonderful dishes and they were all amazing. The chef is like a wizard, the combinations are bold and modern but based on the best traditional ingredients! The restaurant has great vegetarian options and the drinks are also very good. I can't wait to come back someday and eat here again. Stars of the show: the caramelized pork shoulder dish, the cypriot potatoes, the Greek salad, the feta pie with tomato and chili jam and (the best) mojito with orange...
Read moreThis restaurant has by far the best Greek food anywhere. It’s tucked away in Petralona, Athens at 42 Kallisthenous at the corner of Iperionos. This was a group function and EVERY dish was terrific. Among other things, we had beets, stuffed grape leaves and all different kinds of meat. The one dish I wouldn’t recommend is the boiled greens as there were too many stalks and I couldn’t chew through it all. We went back a few weeks later and had great service from James. We had the Pame Paragka salad, Stone Potatoes with 4 cheeses (one of the best things I’ve ever eaten) and tomatoe patties with tzatziki. Their tzatziki is even amazing as they used a lot of garlic. The atmosphere was charming, open air, typical Greek. And they have air...
