A great experience at a properly local Greek restaurant. A very kind guest helped translate between ourselves and the lady in the kitchen whereby we ordered lots of food. On the day we visited we ordered roasted chicken with orzo, grilled sardines with tomatoes, stewed greens.
Everything was great and the staff were extremely friendly despite us only knowing a couple words of Greek. The kind man who translated even sent us over a drink on him. A really good intro to Greece on our first day and meal in the country during our stay.

We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome despite the language barrier- if anything it contributed to how much we enjoyed the experience. We were led into the kitchen to choose our dishes from a selection of pots. Huge portions of selected dishes were brought to our table. The wine- house wine( no choice just the anonymous one they had) was fantastic. Excellent value for money (we couldn’t believe the bill). Please please visit this restaurant when you are in Athens. It feels like you have visited your Greek parents who are...
