Perfect place for outboor activities. If you like pipes, motors and retro teqnique. But before you go please chek the schedule. Great plece wich show how you can transform old factory in to the cultural zone- with exibition areas, big differant yards and amphiteatre inside the huge conteiner. In enterance tou will impressed with black conteiner and go inside you finde differand exibition venues. Unfortunatelly you cannot find a map but explore a little bit, you will have fun, nice caffe to hang and think how people work and fight with coal and gas heat and dirt- for the city -understand that thay win gives your greek coffe exelant taste. Nice place to take kids and explain tham al these steampunk mechanismes, be shure thay will find a fun. Area is full of clubs and think that its exelant places for the nightlife.

Many European cities nowadays have former industrial buildings converted to 'cool' arts and entertainment spaces - this is the Athenian version, a former gasworks site from the 19th century. I visited on a regular evening, from what I gathered, the site serves as a museum + cultural venue. It has a specific vibe, I found it interesting, even if everything was mostly closed. The whole surrounding area, Gazi, is full of quirky bars, restaurants, theatres, and adult entertainment venues - especially gay ones, if that's your thing. It is an interesting part of Athens, also easily accessible from the centre by metro or even by walking. Gazi area used to be home for gasworks staff, and, allegedly, was known for its lively vibe already back in the day.

I had fun in the Death Disco festival. Both stages were nice. The prices of drinks were the most positive surprise. 330ml Amstel beer 2.5€ , shots 3€ water .50cents... The space reminds me of a port or a place on an island. I removed 1 star due to the lack of ventilation in the stage inside. It got SO HOT. The bands must have been in a worse situation, because the people + the lights + the position away from the door... Please add a ventilation system!!!! Especially after the global pandemic, a lack thereof poses a great risk to public health. We got tickets in advance the the people at the entrance were so friendly. A great start to a great night!

2020: We've been to Technopolis for a Melisses concert. The venue was super organized, clean, and well prepared for all measures of social distancing. Chairs came in pairs of two, and bolted to the ground and the crew was continuously making sure that everyone was using their masks properly. Signage was good and the staff was friendly. Sound and lighting were great. We are thankful to everyone in the venue for this wonderful experience we've had! 2023: another experience at Technopolis was just as organized. Kudos!

Interesting place, but could be better. I liked the new playground, fun for everyone! But they charge entrance fees for the gas museum for some reason. Unless I'm specifically interested in gas, why would I pay almost as much as for the acropolis museum? And there could be many more uses for this place...we came during the day and the only thing open were the restaurant and some paid exhibitions

Πολύ χάλι για συναυλιακός χώρος. Δεν υπάρχει καμία πρόβλεψη για τον κόσμο. Λες και δεν είναι ανάγκη να κάτσουν πουθενά. Μεγάλο στριμοξίδι, κι αν έχεις μπροστά σου και κανέναν ψιλό τότε ούτε συναυλία δεν βλέπεις. Γιατί αν είναι να την ακούσεις μόνο, κάθεσαι και σε ένα μαγαζί έξω άσο τον χώρο, και το απολαμβάνεις. Αλλά μάλλον αυτή είναι η αλήθεια. Έτσι είναι σχεδιασμένο. Έρχεσαι για συναυλία, και γίνεται χαμός; Θα κάτσεις σε κάποιο από τα μαγαζιά που είναι μέσα στον χώρο, κι έτσι θα βγάλουν κι αυτοί κάνα φράγκο. Δηλαδή η συναυλίες λειτουργούν σαν "κράχτης" για τα μαγαζιά. Έχω έρθει πολλές φορές για εκθέσεις και μούσια, και είναι πραγματικά ένας υπέροχος πολυχώρος. Αλλά είναι επίσης σχεδόν πάντα ήσυχος. Είναι πραγματικά ωραία η βόλτα σε έκθεση μπύρας ή καφέ, ή βιβλίου. Πάντα Έχει κόσμο σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις, αλλά μπορείς και να περπατήσεις, και να κάτσεις αν θελήσεις. Σε όσους αρέσει το στριμοξίδι σε συναυλίες τότε να ξανάρθουν, και είναι όλα υπέροχα. Έχω ακούσει εξάλλου τα καλύτερα από πολλούς. Εμένα πάντως δεν μου άρεσε. Ειδικά για τα λεφτά που στοιχίζει το εισιτήριο..
