These kind of establishments are a 100% my style: laid back, in an unexpected neighborhood that relies in basic food that is very well cooked with good ingredients. We went to οι μουριες on our first night in Athens. We went to the unknown and the place was a huge surprise, the waiter was very friendly, the atmosphere of the place on the terrace wonderful and all the food was delicious And also at a very affordable price! We fell in love with the honey cake that they offered us for dessert. Is there any possibility of providing us the recipe or al leat the ingredients or the name of the cake? We want to try to replicate...

We went yesterday. The waitress was really rude. We asked her to change the tablecloth since it was DIRTY and she refused. We told her again many times. Food was served cold. Obviously was cooked hours ago and kept just in case. Prices were very high considering the small portions and attitude! We paid a lot but the same waitress didn't serve us the complimentary halve meanwhile she served it to others! Don't go there is a waste of time and money...
