We had the Lamb marinated in honey and thyme, it was the most tender and delicious we have ever tasted. The fresh fries were nice with herbs and salt, all served hot and within good timeframe. We tried the Havla and Lemon tart as dessert and were happy to finish this great meal with such well prepared desserts. It was more chique than the other restaurants in this neigbourhood: water from bottle, warm bread, qualitative mix of olives and actual wine glasses for their excellent house wine from the Greek isle of Limnos. These calm and sweet ladies made us feel very welcome in their dining experience (:

Η επίσκεψή μας στο εστιατόριο "Χρύσα Χρύσα" ήταν μια εκπληκτική εμπειρία. Ο κομψά διακοσμημένος χώρος, με τα λουλούδια στα τραπέζια, δημιούργησε μια ευχάριστη ατμόσφαιρα. Η εξυπηρέτηση από την κ. Χρύσα και την κ. Μαρία ήταν άψογη, παρά τον πολύ κόσμο. Η ποιότητα του κρασιού και των επιλεγμένων γλυκών υπερέβησαν τις προσδοκίες μας, ενώ το σερβίρισμα ήταν εξαιρετικό. Τα χειροποίητα γλυκά, με την προσωπική τους πινελιά, άφησαν θετική εντύπωση. Όλα τα γλυκά είναι φρεσκοφτιαγμένα, προσφέροντας έναν υπέροχο συνδυασμό αρωμάτων και γεύσεων. Η προσήλωση στη χρήση υψηλής ποιότητας υλικών αναδεικνύει την προσπάθεια για τη δημιουργία γλυκών που ξεχωρίζουν. Είναι φανερό πώς η κ. Χρύσα αφιερώνει προσοχή στη λεπτομέρεια, δημιουργώντας γλυκά που αγκαλιάζουν τις αισθήσεις. Η προσωπική της σφραγίδα στις συνταγές δίνει μια μοναδική ταυτότητα σε κάθε γεύση, καθιστώντας την επίσκεψή μας αξέχαστη. Αλλά αυτό που ξεχώρισε περισσότερο ήταν η ευγένεια και η ζεστασιά που αντηχούν σε κάθε γωνιά του μαγαζιού. Είναι εμφανές πώς η κ. Χρύσα έχει καταφέρει να δημιουργήσει μια οικεία ατμόσφαιρα, κερδίζοντας την πιστοσύνη των πελατών της. Η επίσκεψή μας αποτελεί σίγουρα το πρώτο από μια σειρά επισκέψεων σε αυτόν τον εξαιρετικό προορισμό. Το μόνο σίγουρο είναι ότι θα γίνει το στέκι μας στα Πετράλωνα!

This is an absolutely delightful restaurant with delicately flavoured modern Greek food. The meat was extremely succulent and cooked to perfection. We ate feta with sesame, honey and ginger; illex with zucchini; paper wrapped goat; and a chicken skewer. We were also brought a complementary chocolate mousse, which was as light as a feather. Every single dish was sensational. We also had excellent wine.

Come here. Run, walk, drive, fly, crawl. Whatever it takes. Get here. NOW! Honestly, the best meal we have had in Athens, or almost anywhere, in a very long time. Fantastic service and attention from who I assume is the owner. No detail was too small or forgotten. She somehow knew what we were thinking we might need and brought it to the table before we could complete the thought. The meticulous layout of the flatware was illustrative of the detail they have gone to for this dining experience. The meals we had for dinner were simply amazing. A mixture of some traditional Greek favorites and some items the chef and owner are very passionate about. Heck, Even just the French fries were simple but perfectly cooked and served. As an American in Greece, I was blown away, by even those fries. The cheesecake for dessert was the most amazing and light cheesecake I have ever had.
