Pizzeria Romas — Restaurant in Athens

Fancied a pizza, so stopped by this place because it was close. The place was empty so should've said something about it!

The restaurant was very cluttered, with far too many bottles around and plaques all over the walls. It also had weird logs around the bar area, table cloths and old looking chairs, which gave it a very dated look.

The pizza I had was okay, really not great. The crust was far too thick and it was laden with loads of cheese (sometimes less is more). The pizza sauce was average. Overall it wasn't bad, but it really wasn't...

Talk about a great pizza with wonderful staff and chef! Located in the lovely neighbourhood of Koukaki we were able to custom design our pizza to our individual tastes.. very tasty and reasonably priced as well as very tasty and reasonably priced wine… ! the other prima donna reviews should be ignored!! we have been here for six weeks in Athens and eaten many places and we are definitely looking forward to...

Disappointment. I was looking forward to an Italian style wood-oven pizza but what I got was far from that. First of all there pizza wasn't cooked in a wood-oven even though there are pictures of one. Secondly the pizza had way too much cheese and the quality of the ingredients in general were kind of poor. So if you are looking for an Italian style pizza then this is not your place....
