Sam burgers — Restaurant in Athens

Synthetic meat to the max, use real cheese instead of cream cheese crap please, took 23 minutes for food to arrive, not sure why there was like five orders, the 2€ fries were hot, and the 5.50€ sweet potato were cold, the sweet potatoes oil hasn't been changed for at least two weeks, I know as I have many clients in the food industry, what a waste of money this experience was, cheap ingredients overall, however the bun was nice, people taking the money had no idea about what cards were accepted and for which terminal, because there dumb to the max, if paying with American express, ensure use the POS system that's says VIVA wallet. 2 stars for accepting American express, with the Millions of visitors that come through Greece, not accepting all cards is a shot in the foot, tbh, I'm not sure how most of these businesses actually make money. I can't get it what this hype about this burger joint is all about. Is it because it is, or looks American? Maybe. Is it because it's good? Definitely not. There are at least 5 better burgers in a 500m radius. Probably there is a better burger at home if you are an average cook. One star goes for the potatoes, which were not fresh, but ok. Tried 2 burgers, potatoes w cheddar bacon, sweet potatoes and chicken wings. Average is a very generous word describing all the stuff we had to eat. Please guys make better food. You'll make even more money if the food is great.

My dear Sam burger friends. Never said there's 5 burger joints in a 500m radius. EVERY cafe bar in the area that has a proper kitchen and makes burgers, serves better burgers than yours. LOVED THIS PLACE! ❤️ Its colorful theme and decorations with marvel super heros, states licence plates and cartoons figurines all over the place gives this spot a unique all american vibe right in the center of Athens.

The burgers: AMAZINGLY GOOD!

Wasn’t expecting a traditional american burger and was really surprised and mind blowned of how good it was. To be honest better than most burgers in the states.

I was greeted by Sam himself who recomended the “Sam burger”. As he said, it has his name in it. It was a classic bacon cheeseburger with tons of caramelized onions, cheddar cheese and a special bbq sauce. This was a real bacon burger, with real thick bacon, and tasty juicy meat fresh out of the grill. Let’s not forget about the bread 🤯. This bread was perfectly golden brown and buttery on the outside and was so soft it mealts in your mouth 🤤.

The service was great and the burgers and fries out of this world.
