!! Cockroach in the food !!

*The owner states that this never happened but this is not true unfortunately.. *

Our experience at this restaurant was nothing short of a nightmare. What was supposed to be a pleasant dinner turned into a horror story when we found a cockroach in our salad. Yes, you read that right—a cockroachin our food. We immediately complained, and instead of offering a genuine apology or asking what we would like to do next, they whisked away our plates and brought us new dishes without even consulting us. By this point, we were all so traumatized and disgusted that we couldn't even think about eating.

As if the situation wasn't bad enough, when the bill arrived, it was heavily reduced, which we appreciated and considered leaving a 25% tip to show that we were handling this situation graciously despite our terrible experience. But then, the nightmare escalated—they suddenly claimed they had given us the "wrong" bill and brought us a new one, which included everything we had ordered, even the dish with the cockroach! Absolutely disgraceful.

To add insult to injury, the staff was completely unorganized, hectic, and utterly incapable of handling this crisis. They seemed more concerned about covering up their mistake than making things right for us.

Our stomachs are still churning from the thought of what happened, and we deeply regret not standing our ground. What was meant to be a final nice evening on our 10-day trip to Greece turned into the worst possible ending we could have imagined. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your health...

Service is great. Food is regular Greek tavern except for the shrimp I've order. The shrimp came and they were cooked in a pan with tomato sauce and feta, they were mixed, some were just the tail already no shell and other were integral with head and shell. When I taste an open one it was awful, the taste and smell was from a rotten fish. I left the plate and once I had the opportunity I told to the waiter the issue. After a couple of minutes the owner came to ask what happened, after I explained to him, he told me that it was because they were cooked with feta. I was disappointed to hear that cause it can happen that a fish got rotten but u have to admit it and not try to find excuse. Rotten fish is very hazard also. To apologise he brought a beer but in the check I found the total amount of the plate of shrimp, I just ate 2 of them before to find the rotten one. I paied anyway but there is no point to run a business if u don't accept that mistake can happen and you charge a customer for something that was inappropriate to serve. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My experience at this restaurant was nothing short of disgusting. After placing our order, we were served our appetizers, which included a Greek salad—complete with a cockroach swimming in olive oil and lemon sauce. There’s no doubt it came from the salad itself.

When we complained, the staff quickly took our starters away, only to bring back the exact same dishes without addressing our concerns. At that point, our appetite was completely ruined. Out of politeness, and because our main courses were already prepared, we reluctantly decided to stick with our mains but refused to touch the repulsive starters.

When it came time to settle the bill, we expected to see some adjustment for the horrific experience. Unfortunately, they replaced the bill at the last moment, charging us full price for everything—including the Greek salad.
