I don't understand how can someone not give 5 stars for this place. If you are in Arachova you MUST go to this place or you will be missing out. It is an unbelievably authentic experience. It is family owned and run by such a wonderful couple. The food was out of this world. We ordered lamb chops, Loukaniko (Greek sausage) and tomato cucumber salad. Best Greek food we ever had and we tried a lot in last 10 days. DO NOT listen to the people who gave anything, but 5 stars. 1 star because they were closed at 3pm? Siesta in Greece can run from 2pm-5pm. To that person I would say do your research. 2 stars because fries were too oily? I mean maybe, but we did not come to Greece to eat fries. 3 stars, because the doors weren't open at 1pm? You have to understand that it's family owned and run by a couple. Stuff happens. They might not be able to have the place open if they have something going on. They have a life too. Oh and the home made white wine was absolutely amazing. Yesterday we had lunch and we chose this place because of the recommendations on Google, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. Being a Peruvian who loves to eat and I'm usually very picky to say that I really liked something, this place was amazing. I ordered the lamb ribs and they were tasty, crispy and flavorful. The portion was very generous. My boyfriend ordered the pork and it was very tasty. The Greek salad was another level, the best I have tasted in Greece, and I ordered the house wine and it was very tasty and fresh and the price was very cheap. The business is family owned, two husbands who although they do not speak English, were able to communicate with us and were attentive at all times. A very authentic Greek tavern with amazing food and relaxing views. This restaurant is not located on the main street of Arachova, but that makes it even better because it’s not overly crowded.
