The cook must have taken vacation when we went there. I had the chicken cacciatore and it tasted literally as someone had taken boiled chicken and mixed with a jar of tomato sauce and some frozen potatoes. I have travelled to 30 countries and have eaten to at least 1000 different Italian restaurants and I never had chicken cacciatore so bad. My wife's meal was also very salty. This was one of my best experiences in Greece. It is a nice little restaurant with Italian cuisine and lots of personality. The fresh sea foods dishes were delicious and even pizza was a piece of art. All this accompanied by the best jazz / blues music and the sight of the medieval walls of Ioannina.
