Metsovitiki Folia — Restaurant in Ioannina Municipality

I have nothing to say about the food since I haven't tried it.

I entered the outer dining area with my dog after asking politely for a table with my dog, I was allowed to enter by the stuff. They told me where to sit (near the entrence). My dog was near me, on the my left, the side of the entrance, since there was no space on my right (there was a big step there). one of the stuff asked me if I can move my dog to the other side since he might interfere with people comming in. I said that there is no space there and I suggested to move to another table where there was more space without interfering anyone. Howevere, the stuff member told me to stay where I was. After few seconds, the owner came in and started shouting at me in front of the other customers that my dog is not located in a good spot and why did I sit there because of that? While shoutting and being very antiphatic he told me yo sit somewhere else.

I decided to leave. With this kind of attitude, I no longer want to be there.

Maybe the food there is good but my hospitalty experience...

The place is undeniably popular, with crowds of people waiting in line for a chance to dine there. However, despite the buzz, it felt like a fairly ordinary grill spot. The menu consists of simple pita dishes, and while the portions are decent, the plates are noticeably oily, which might not appeal to everyone.

The prices are reasonable, so you won’t feel like you’re overpaying for the food, but nothing about the flavors or presentation truly stands out to justify the hype. It’s hard to understand why so many people are willing to wait in line for what feels like a pretty standard experience.

If you’re curious about the hype or enjoy being part of a busy, energetic atmosphere, it might be worth a visit. Otherwise, there are plenty of other options that offer similar meals without...

Metsovitiki Folia has a very condensed menu, with 4-5 main dishes, but the dishes they make are exceptionally tasty.

The service is very fast, very polity and very accommodating. We ate at the restaurant 3-4 times and we were always made feel welcomed, were served promptly and were taken care off!

The only negative is the location, you are effectively sitting next to a main street and you have to endure the passing vehicles. It's not unbearable but it's not as nice as with some other locations (next to the lake).

If you want some REALLY good food don't miss out on the opportunity...
