There are plenty of really good places to eat in Chaniotis - somehow, though, Louis and his team manage to turn up the dial to 11 on everything: quality of the food, options on the menu, style in the service and...just making you feel glad to be alive and sharing the moment. We will be back. We will always be back. Apologies for the photos, I forget to take good pictures there because I'm too busy being happy.

Edit: twelve months later, we're back in Chaniotis and back at Capari. Went to leave a review and Google reminded me what I said last year...see above. Is it as good as we remembered? That's an absolutely amazing place! All the staff are so friendly and polite. The first time we came here the waiter gave us to try greek Ouzo and it was quite good. We ordered fisherman spaghetti, medium size pizza and two beers. The food was really good and there was a big portion, the pizza is superb! We liked this place and came for the second time, ordered grilled salmon, drink, half litres of white wine and spaghetti with seafood. On this day my gf had a birthday so I asked waiters to make some good desert and they told me "leave it to us" :D So when the desert came we were really surprised, because it was a cake with candles and sparklers so she was so happy and even I didn't expect this. We visited this place twice, it's a typical greek tavern. Nice people and great atmosphere. Everything that we ordered was not that tasty as we expected unfortunately, except for the pork chop and greek salad, those were delicious. Pizza was too salty, mixed fish dishes were overcooked, no salt. Nobody served our table with pepper and salt. Waiters don't know the menu, when we asked to explain some dishes and beverages waiters said they didn't try them, so they didn't know. In general, i recommend this place for house wine, pork chop and greek salad and a tasty ice cream as a compliment from the place, even though second time we weren't offered a compliment as administrator wanted us to leave a place quickly for...
