Erodios Restaurant — Restaurant in Kassandra Municipality

Went for dinner with high expectations given the reviews. The setting is nice indeed, good atmosphere in the outside area.

However immediately as we sat things were not so perfect. The staff took long to bring menus, then didn't come for ages until I walked over myself to tell we were ready to order, then we were told half of the items we wanted were not available, when queried why, the answer was a lazy "we have a lot of people that want to eat".

We were 5 and ordered a good selection of items, everything came at different time, several mains came before some starters, some mains took 10 minutes to bring at the end when we wanted to leave already. Half the items were not too fresh and 2 people from our party had an upset stomach after dinner.

After asking for the bill, had to once again walk over to the staff to remind them to pay.

Not impressed, will...

My personal opinion: the best greek restaurant in Hanioti. We ordered fried anchovy (Gavros), moussaka and grilled octopus. Everything was over our expectations from taste point of view and the plating was quite impressive (see the picture). I don't know how they prepare the octpous, but it was the most delicious that I have ever eaten! The employees are very polite and can help you decide about one dish or another. All in all: very good restaurant! 5 stars from my heart!

We've come back after few days and we ordered fried pork pieces with lemon and oregano sauce, chicken schnitzel with fresh mushrooms sauce, cheese crokets with french fries and grilled squid... Everything was perfect, as usual... Again 5 stars...

Good food, bad experience

In spite of the amazing food, it wasn't a great experience. The waiters were in a hurry, didn't pay attention to important details and even started to sweep around us. The menu offers a wide range of dishes. The drinks were not written there, though. Were we supposed to guess which beverages were available and how expensive they were??? There were also a few desserts supposedly available, but when I wanted to order, they said they 'ran out' and that they would bring us something on them when we would've finished eating. We got some mini brownies with some cream on top.

Again, the food was great, the overall experience not that much....
