This bar is nice on a nice beach. The service is NO COMMENT seriously. The first day I came I asked for a beach chair anywhere in the first two roads, the answer I got was this "Well, you know you have to make reservation first.; I said "Ok, not a problem, let me make a reservation.".. He said ".. and you know, you can't just reserve a chair and stay all day on one coffee.. You have to spend more money".. mmm okay. Who gives answers like this?? Are you serious, seriously?? The next morning I came with my family, friends, we are ordering some drinks coffee whatever. My mother is coming she just had a breakfast and said "I will order something in a little bit I'm full..." then the server said "SORRY, but 5 chairs 5 orders!", I politely said.."Listen, do not worry, we will be ordering, don't worry about that she just had breakfast she is full for now.."; "No, that's the rule. And no outside food or drinks just so you know".. Wow! How retarded is this. It's COMMON SENSE boy, we know. So I said "Fine, not a problem bring me one more drink for her.." He took our order and said: "OK - this is enough you spend so you can stay 3h.." OMG! Can you just SHUT THE F UP with your spend limits and most ridiculous rules I ever heard. Who does this??!! I travel the world, I was in many places, I live in LA, never ever did I hear answers like this from a server. I'm not sure what kind of guests they having and who even told them to speak like that to customers but its so shady. Of course ''I will spend'' how much I think I need to spend - I will eat when I'm hungry - my guests will order when they thirsty - You don't tell me when to order and what to order and how much!! Most likely I would spend three times more If I did not receive that kind of service. I made reservations for dinner Saturday night at Fiki Fiki, I canceled all of it. That's what you get when treating your customers the way you do. There is many other Beach bars and restaurants in the village that will appreciate having me as a guest. Worst experience ever. We are not coming back to this...
Read moreGood place to visit if you are on Halkidiki. I was there few times, always with little baby (one year old), and staff always did their best to feel nice! But, here is some more description. So, it easy to find at first, you have sigh at main street, near main traffic light in Pefkohori. Parking on beach is near by, cca 50m from entmrance in beach bar. Beach is clean, sand is a little bigger grain than fleur, easy to walk and sit on. There is also area without sunbeds next to this place. Entrance in water is easy, for older and bigger persons, or a small baby. It is not too steep, you have 10m in the sea and I can still stand there, in soft sand. No sea weed and fishes are not boring. No big waves either. Water is clear and warm, there is a big water sports equipment near by, slides, jumping block etc. Sun beds are cozy and sun umbrelas are big enough for two adults. You can get aditional adjustable chair and small umbrela (big plus!!!) Food and drinks are good and not too expensive, and their coctails are fenomenal! There is a great big restaurant also, with two showers and toilets that are clean and very well equiped. There was live music in the evening few times. During the day there is some nice house dub remix, no pain to listen. Not too loud, my baby sleeped few naps on the beach. What I would point out is service! Boys and girls that work on the beach are simply great! And positive energy that they have is refreshing. They non stop clean the beach also, no trash or cigarette filters lying there. Smiled proffesionals that never stop, they are kind and helpfull and always there! They speak good English, and some more languages. I kindly thank my host and hostess Evangelos and Sevi! Keep up with great work... I will visit this place...
Read moreSo, the chez lounges are free…and they aren’t 🙂
You need to consume 20€ - 40€ worth of food and drink per person. There are 3 pricing tiers for the chez lounges based on their proximity to the waterfront, which is kind of a joke since the entire width of the usuable shore is no more than 20 meters from the “last row” to the water…so the difference in distance between the first row next to the water and second row is like 2 meters. I was here with my wife and two kids. Truthfully, everything was fine and I only have two complaints:
The prices are 30-60% higher than the nextdoor beach bar Los Hermanos. There is no perceivable reason for the difference in price unless they are paying their staff exceptionally better than the competition.
I ordered two lemonades. I was asked if I wanted a Fanta-like lemonade, or homemade. Unfortunately I chose the homemade. For a 60% higher price I got two glasses full of ice and mint leaves and MAYBE 100ml of actual lemonade, so basically I paid 16€ for two glasses of lemonade-flavored ice with a small mint tree in it.
I told our waiter, Vangelis ( very sympathetic and understanding Dude ) that I felt screwed with the homemade lemonade. He understood and told me he would speak with the manager. Apparently the manager flat out didn’t care and had zero interest in compensating the customer in any way….obviously an expert in Customer Experience 😉 That’s cool, I simply won’t come here anymore since the competition is literally next door with better prices and better portions.
Hope this...
