I comment on our entire experience with its pros and cons:
First of all, we ordered as large as possible for a good review. For this reason, I would like to point out that in the comments from previous years, there were complaints about the portion sizes. Now the portions are huge and sometimes so much that you can't finish it.
As main course we ate lamb, some kind of fish and calamari. One of us couldn't finish the meat. The other of us had a hard time finishing the calamari. All of them tasted excellent and the products that came with them were enough to be a feast for the eyes.
We ordered french fries, greek salad, Elia Salad and zucchini fries. It was great to have these appetizers ahead of time while the main course was being prepared. Because we were able to have a good time by eating something while waiting. They were all quite large and we felt like four people ordered too many plates.
The atmosphere was wonderful. Two cheerful gentlemen who sang the most beautiful Greek melodies gave us a sweet night. The square where the restaurant is located is very nice and you feel happy here.
The waiters were young and friendly. Despite the busyness, they took care of us quickly. They waited patiently for us to decide to order on the menu for a long time.
Overall, it deserves full points, but we should also write down the negative parts for an unbiased review.
First of all, the worst thing that happened to us was a hair coming out of the sauce of the fried zucchini. We immediately reported this to the waiter and our plate was changed with a polite apology many times. We considered this normal because something like this could happen to you unintentionally. The important thing is how it is compensated...
Secondly, since this restaurant is in an open area, dogs and cats can come near you. You can experience such things in all the restaurants here. This is not the restaurant's fault either. Despite this, every time the people at our table got scared, the waiters apologized to us and took the animals away. However, it's not their fault...
Lastly, the parking problem… This is not the fault of the restaurant, but if you come to this town during the evening rush hours, you may have difficulty leaving your car. We found this place through Google Reviews and parking was really difficult. To do this, try to leave your car in the street parking spaces before going inside.
That's exactly it! We would be happy for you to follow us for...
Read moreWell, it's called Traditional Greek tavern, but it has a very limited menu (no Feta cheese saganaki for exampe), but the life music is a real disaster. It is very, very loud so you can't hear your own thoughts. They do not stop even for 10 min. There is no concept of allowing people to dine in a quiet atmosphere. The service is slow - they brought the salad last on the table. 😅 They broke a glass, they almost trough the food on the floor serving it; they brought us a Chilean souvlaki, asked us of we have it, we confirmed and they took it back to the kitchen. 🙄🙄🙄 It is chaos everywhere. The food is very poor quality - Dakos salad has nothing is common with a real Cretian salad. However, the grilled squid was served with a sauce like mayonnaise, not a real lemon juice they say in the menu, but the real deal breaker was rhe fact that it wasn't cleaned and cooked properly. In my opinion, they need to revise the menu seriously, hiring a real chef or at least a manager who knows how to run the place. My recommendation goes to all the lovely places around as Las Pas..., the fish...
Read moreA dissapointing experience. The main dishes were too little as quantity, the only great thing was the greek salad, although it had pickled green chilly peppers in it and green chewy olives instead of the black ones.
We got the grilled octopus and got 2 small to medium tentacles for almost 13€. We also got the mussels with shell, but they didn't have any taste, not worth the 7€.
The music was the only awesome thing. The two guys playing really created the atmosphere of the place. However, whenever someone got up to dance (mostly elderly people) and enjoy the music, the staff quickly frowned and asked them to sit down, not sure why.
There was complimentary dessert on the tables around us, but not for ours. The service was slow and we waited a lot for a beer every time we...
