Absolutely an amazing experience! Truly the most refined cuisine we had all summer across Greece without being over the top . We got the tasting menu and a cod plate which was truly amazing in an immaculate “flower” presentation, a very good local rose and front seat on an amazing view ! For €50 the tasting menu is equal or better to Athenian Michelin level . The plates where interesting, flavors well refined yet with a local tone , and overall an extremely pleasant experience. Crew absolutely fabulous and “earthy” with great attention to detail . There was no pairing but the rose matched very well . Portions are generous for the product and my goodness the local Sourdough with butter and hints of local salami was a star by itself. Amazing views and a very good location. But - very poor service. We had to pour our own wine and water, because the waiters was either to stressed or didnt bother, don’t know. The waiters/kitchen was not very fleixble either because it was not possible to add anything to the dishes. I only wanted some potateos to the veal. The chicken did not taste very much, but the vibes was good. Nice music, but the service made it a bad experience. 6 euros for bread that was not ordered is a crime. A dissapointing "fine dining" experience. Apart from the long delays in the food service (we ordered at 9:30 and stayed until midnight, with very long gaps between plates), the biggest issue is the mediocre food quality for the quite high price. The restaurant wants but fails spectacularly to serve high-level gastronomy, it doesn't even get close...
