Vibes Mediterranean Gastro & Cocktails — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Unfortunately this is definitely not a place I recommend anyone visits. We decided to have dinner here to mark the end of our 3 week vacation in Greece. We were immediately seated right next to the band that played uncomfortably loud music, right by a sewage pipe that let off a stench every few minutes, at a table crammed in between two others, which made it practically impossible to move anywhere. Despite the event I will describe next, not being the restaurants fault, I believe their reaction was absolutely inappropriate and made the whole group feel disrespected. Because of the crammed situation I described earlier, a few guests felt privileged to the only passageway to get to the bathroom or anywhere else, which quickly caused a situation in which we were forced to climb over instruments in order to go to the bathroom or get in contact with the waiters. The waiters ignored our orders multiple times (didn’t bring wine, bread or even let us order anything else when we wanted) due to the annoyed guests that were finally made to move so that around 15 people could reach the bathroom, waiters or even pay their bill. After around 20 min of trying to get attention, we eventually climbed around an umbrella so that we could pay and get out of this place. A really meticulous menu that covers even the most demanding.we visited the vibes for dinner with my family. 4 of us shared the salad with Lefkada lentils, seviche from day fish, the homemade green pie with local cheese mousse and the crispy squid with white tarama. It was all wonderful, very tasty, quality first Ingredients and satisfactory portions. As the main dish we chose the fish of the day, the striploin, the lobster orzo and the slow-cooked lamb. Unfortunately our experience at the Vibes restaurant was extremely unpleasant, not in line with the fine dining experience we were promised. The food couldn’t make up for the terrible service and foul smell coming from the harbour. Wasps were constantly flying around our table, which I was concerned about as i am allergic. It was almost impossible to gain the attention of one of the waiters to sort out our wasp issue, and even after we managed to communicate our troubles it took him another 20 minutes to show up with the wasp repellent.
