Stone Beach by CAYO — Restaurant in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

I can see why there are mixed reviews. You just have to understand what you are getting into. We chose to use the beds in Stone Beach as they are much nicer, it is typically more expensive than most places but we were going to spend a good 5 hours there so we made that choice. To use the beds is a minimum 40 Euro spend. We had beers, water and lunch throughout the day. Small beer is 6 Euro and lunch averaged 18-20 Euro per dish (yes, it is more expensive than most the places weve been) but they were good quality and certainly filled us up. If you don't want to spend the money there are cheaper places on the beach. We found the staff friendly and helpful, they helped us with a taxi home when we needed it although it did get very busy. Absolute gem of a place. Incredibly friendly staff. Gorgeous setting with extremely friendly and attentive staff. The beach club have buzzers so everything is super easy. We loved our day here. Food and drinks were incredibly tasty and the cocktails were amazing. Would totally recommend. Lieu joli qui donne envie de s'installer a table, Cuisinier vraiment pas bon ! Nous sommes resté 28 jours en crète c'est le restaurant où on a payé le plus cher et c'était le seul qui était vraiment pas bon. A tout ceux qui lisent mon commentaire, fuyez je pense que c'est un gamin de 12 ans qui cuisine. IMBOUFFABLE !! Fruits et légume pas mûr dur comme la table, cocktail imbuvable, poulet archi sec, viande de bœuf servi sur le riz qui a une couleur comme si il était avarié mais avec tellement de vinaigre dessus que l'on ne peut même pas savoir si il est avarié ou non (et je suis boucher de métier) Nous avons fait une réclamation au serveur sur un plat, après avoir MIS LES DOIGTS DANS LE SANDWICH de ma fille pour vérifié qu'effectivement le poulet était sec et l'avocat dur comme sa tête, il nous changé le sandwich. au moment de l'adition je pense qu'il nous a compté deux fois ce petit sandwich a 20€ !! Impossible d'en avoir la certitude car quand j'ai demandé le ticket la serveuse a fait mine de ne pas comprendre et elle est revenu 15 min après pour me dire si vous voulez le ticket je peux vous le ramener dans 30 min car il faut aller a l'hôtel qui se trouve plus haut dans la montagne pour faire un ticket ......... Magouille et compagnie... Fuyez il y a des tavernes 6000 fois meilleures...
