"Arkadi" Fish Taverna Georgioupolis — Restaurant in Municipality of Apokoronas

Overpriced and undercooked simple dishes. Returned the "I'm not bothered today" very thick and undercooked fried courgettes, one of the simplest dishes in Greek cuisine. Nobody apologised or explained. Asked for the bill, it was included (at 6.50 euros, which is overpriced). I complained and the waitress was trying to explain to me that they tried them and they were OK... eventually they grudgingly took off the bill. We paid and made our way. Try taverna kalivaki instead.

Update: and you can see the owner's reply, actually having a go at me for forgetting how to speak Greek and that I used the courgettes as an excuse in a bill well over 100 euros across 8 people to lower the price... I haven't forgotten how to speak Greek but I am trying to get people to avoid your rude service (which your response highlights) and average food. It may be fine for tourists, according to your own words, but not good enough for...

Extremly long waiting time...first of all, we waited for about 10-15 mins to receive a menu, but without success. You won't get the waitrers' attention unless you ask for it. Afterwards followed another hour waiting time for a GRILLED octopus and cuttlefish! Wrong order. We wouldn't mind the first point if one of the orders wasn't wrong...the stuffed cuttlefish turned out to be grilled and stuffed with...air. Extremly rude attitude from the waitress and the manager. After complaining about the experience to the waitress and the manager the appologies we received: 'many people, you see, you have to understand...go to other restaurant' just don't feel right. Never encountered this kind of attitude anywhere in Europe and especially not in Greece where hospitality is a...

That was the worst experience ever. First of all the staff was really rude since the moment we arrived. We waited a long time for one of the dishes we ordered, while the serving staff did their best to avoid us. After we managed to catch one of the waiters with difficulty, it turned out that the missing dish had been forgotten from the order. Sometimes it happens, but the waiter should not behave as if the situation was the customer's fault, as he did in this case, no apology of course. The fish had no taste and was as rubbery as an old tyre. There was a taste in places and it was a burnt barbecue taste. Too sad. Extremely disappointed!
