Cafe-Bar Platia — Restaurant in Municipality of Apokoronas

Visited Cafe-Bar Platia several times on our recent trip to Crete. Great food and service from the very friendly and helpful owners. You can tell everything is cooked fresh and doesn’t come swimming in olive oil like a lot of places. Nice draft beer and the cocktails are fantastic. A huge plus with me is the facilities are spotlessly clean. If you’re an F1 fan, they show all the races live through the F1 TV Pro service. Enjoyed a great evening with very good friends. The place was full with both locals & holidaymakers & there was a lovely atmosphere. The staff were attentive, friendly, polite & brought the food we ordered in a timely manner despite being so busy.
