Amazing place. It very quickly became our favourite place to eat. Such lovely staff, setting and food!
The Greek Salad is wonderful. The chef’s use of oil and herbs really elevated it above any Greek Salad I have had. I am both vegetarian and gluten free and there were many things on the menu for me. I didn’t even try them all, so I have to come back! They even had GF pitta bread.
The location is on the beach and such a marvellous place to sit and eat and watch the sunset after a day in the sun. We enjoyed the pizzas, the gyros, the salads, the desserts, the cocktails, beer and wine. The house white is good!
We wanted to give a voucher here for the family who own the villa we were staying in. They were really helpful and also very reassuring on the phone when I managed to smudge the voucher!
Just a lovely, friendly, beautiful place with delicious food and drinks. Highly recommend! Also do book in advance, this place is no secret...
Read moreI make homemade Caesar dressing and salad at home from scratch that's incomparable to any restaurant in the world other than Caesar's in Mexico. It's unbelievable and I felt for one. I should have known a Greek version would be a HUGE disappointiment. It was an absolute FAIL!! Soggy lettuce endrenched in a cup full of a disgusting sauce. They must have used the whole bottle!!! I can't blame them for the soggy lettuce though as I know in summer all water is boiling hot from the tap! Don't order salad in summer here!! The "Caesar dressing" looks like tire slime. Although I'm sure tire slime would taste better. Absolutely horrific. Worst in my life. Never again. Why can't Greeks cook?? I'd have been better off eating our BBQ leftovers from last night!!!!! By far!!! Probably the worst meal I've ever had in my life....If you need the recipe for a REAL Caesar salad, let me know......Last 2 pictures shows what it...
Read moreNice location and quite beautiful ambience. The food was poor both quality and portion-size wise. The Greek salad especially, looked at least two days old. The creme brûlée was in fact creme caramel with a topping of caramelized sugar and it was served cold!! The cheesecake was indifferent. One of the people in our group ordered a special dish due to dietary restrictions. The dish was brought and was served to someone else in our table because the waiter did not ask who was it for but made an assumption instead. Lastly, while they were offering a treat to all tables along with the bill, we were never offered one. Very unpleasant experience and although we often spend time in Almyrida we will never go back to that place and of course we will discourage as many people as possible...
