Gialos — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

We found this place on our way to the airport, they have an amazing view.

We order a smash burger, cappuccino freddo, and a juice with passion fruit(don’t remember the name). The juice was fresh, and coffee was pretty good but the but the burger was quite disappointing. It was looking very nice, so I was excited to have it. And then when I tried to cut the burger with the knife, the knife was literally stuck in the beef patty. So I was like ‘what’s going on?’ And then when I chewed the patty, I got how it happened. The patty was really dry and the taste wasn’t what I expected at all. I’m sorry for saying cruel things but the patty seemed really needed to be developed.

Visited this restaurant on our last day in Corfu. This is about 10 minutes away from the airport, so we dropped off our bags and then walked down to the restaurant while waiting for our flight.

I had the chicken burger and my partner had the beef burger. Both tasted great and were a really good size and came with chips -- fantastic value. Also got free water. The price was great -- I've attached the menu so you can see the prices.

There is plenty of seating, inside and out. We ate outside and had a wonderful view of the water. The tables are covered so you don't have to worry about being caught in the sun. They also did drinks etc, but we only ate.

Would strongly recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat close to...

Let's start with possitives, the portions are big and the prices are reasonable. The negatives: 500ml beer from draft is served in a 400ml glass, so its at most 450 including foam. The chicken breast in Cesar's salad was dry (but the whole thing was still quite tasty), the paddy in veggie burger was so burned that the whole thing tasted mostly like coal, and the meat in pasta carbonara was so salty, that after i finished it, the beer and 3 glasses of water, I was dehydrated to the point I was under impression that I absorb the humidity from the air.
