This is the best place to eat in the whole Paleokastritsa area! Here are only a few reasons why:
Great traditional Greek food
Grand view over the bay
The loveliest hosts on Corfu (two brothers with their parents) with absolutely heartwarming friendliness. At no time you have the feeling they are just after your money - they truly want you to have a great time at their place.
They serve free water to all meals (used to be a tradition in all Greek restaurants) and you also get a changing desert of the day for free when you ask for the bill. Cool!
Speaking of which: the bill. Prices are way too low for the whole experience anyway, but also a couple of Euros cheaper than down at the water front. We spend (all in) around 45€ for two adults and two kids for dinner.
WE REALLY LOVE THIS PLACE and we went there about 6 times in our two weeks holiday. At the end, our kids seemed to be part of the restaurant team, because they got them involved so nicely making fun with them serving food and drinks.
The owners founded the place in 2018 and absolutely have the right attitude for what they are doing!
So go there, support their lovely restaurant and have a great experience. But when you do, better reserve a table, because there are only 10 and more and more people are discovering this...

We get one of the best tables, order our food, first surprise they do not have local wine, only a type of a Corfu Wine for 28€. We order courgette balls, bread with garlic and olive oil, Tzatziki, cheese with figs and sesame, salmon and fungus. There is no salmon so we order tomato filled with quinoa. Some minutes later they come again and say there are not courgette balls but they will arrange something other. We agree. Then we start with the nonsense. Instead of the courgette they bring two pieces of steamed broccoli, and some grilled eggplant. The cheese has not fig but a sweet melon jelly because they don't have figs, the bread is the worst we've tried in the whole island, the tomato quinoa is more like a heavy bulgur impossible to eat. By this moment I am not hungry anymore. I feel like an ignorant tourist they want to feed with any staff on a plate. Well this is not gonna be the case. I complaint to the waiter, we are charged only for the half of the price (they had to take almost everything back to the kitchen). They waiters tried to be nice, but it had been better to try to be...
Read moreMy wife, daughter and I dined at Il Pozzo last night. From the moment we were greeted to the time we left, we were treated fabulously. The staff here are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. It was a shame that we were not starving as the menu provided a tremendous selection for pescetarians, carnivores and vegetarians alike.
I started with their take on a proscutio bruscetta made with a wonderfully light focaccia bread. My starter went down very well. So well in fact that I only ate half of it as the other half was consumed by my table companions who were not hungry enough to have their own starter. For mains we had steak, mushroom ravioli and cod. The food was all beautifully presented, very well cooked and seasoned to perfection. The murmurs of delight as we took our first bites said more that can be written here. We didn't have deserts but there were a few delicious delights given to us as a fine end to our meal. Hopefully when you go you will be given a small glass of elderflower infused vermouth.
If you went here for the view alone you would not be disappointed but the overall package delights.
If you want to go somewhere that has fresh food, cooked with care and served by genial staff with a scenic setting then this is the place you...
