What happened with La'Kantas? 2 years ago I had amazing dinners over there until the owners started to behave strangely towards customers during covid restrictions. 2 years ago it was a restaurant with an interesting menu, a nice selection of pasta dishes and a great atmosphere. Time is passing by so we decided to have dinner there based on what it was in the past. Now it is more like a tavern with restaurant prices, just to eat huge portions of gyros or other meat. I order pasta and it was the worst experience of the whole season. No taste at all. Just a huge portion of pasta with cheap, sour tomato puree and 3 prawns. No salt, no pepper, no herbs, no garlic... just tasteless. All this for the price of 14,5 EUR. Just a joke. And well, the staff=owners didn't even bother to ask if everything is fine and if the food is tasty. They just took a plate full of food back to the kitchen - I don't remember when last time I experience something like that. More than that they even didn't bother to inform us what is missing from their menu (well who would bother to do time-consuming, traditional dishes if they can serve gyros ;)). Waiters were passing by many times pretending they don't see dirty plates or empty glasses. If they only could they would put the main dishes on top of dirty plates after our starter. Is it too difficult to first clean the table and then put new plates? Really bad experience. Very disappointing and as local people we will not go back there. A few steps further you will find ROMEROS Tavern with amazing owners with wide-open hearts for their customers and very tasty food. Or if you like Italian cuisine go to Roberto and Fei, another great place in Gouvia. And in both these places they do not lower their standards when it is coming to July and August when the place is full...

Servizio molto lento. Sono arrivato nel locale e ho chiesto un tavolo, mi hanno detto che non ce n'erano. Ho telefonato al locale e mi hanno risposto di sì. Sono arrivato al ristorante e dopo un'ora e mezza di attesa la cena non era stata servita. Il ristorante si stava svuotando e nemmeno il numero ridotto di clienti era sufficiente a velocizzare il servizio. Sono andato alla cassa e ho pagato la bottiglia senza aver finito il vino e me ne sono andato. Mi è sembrato assurdo, perché non ho mai dovuto aspettare così tanto per essere servito in un noto ristorante della città. Non sono stato l'unico a lasciare il ristorante, altri clienti non hanno avuto la stessa pazienza e se ne sono andati.

Very slow service. I arrived at the place and asked for a table, they said they didn't have one. I called the establishment and they said they did. I arrived at the restaurant and after one hour and a half of waiting, dinner hadn't been served. The restaurant was emptying and not even the reduced number of customers was enough to speed up service. I went to the cashier and paid for the bottle without having finished my wine and left. I thought it was absurd, as I've never had to wait so long to be served in a well-known restaurant in the city. I wasn't the only one who left the restaurant, other customers didn't have the patience and left.

Service très lent. Je suis arrivé sur place et j'ai demandé une table, on m'a répondu qu'il n'y en avait pas. J'ai appelé l'établissement et ils m'ont dit qu'ils en avaient une. Je suis arrivé au restaurant et après une heure et demie d'attente, le dîner n'avait pas été servi. Le restaurant se vidait et même le nombre réduit de clients ne suffisait pas à accélérer le service. Je suis allé à la caisse et j'ai payé la bouteille sans avoir fini mon vin et je suis parti. J'ai trouvé cela absurde, car je n'ai jamais eu à attendre aussi longtemps pour être servi dans un restaurant réputé de la ville. Je n'ai pas été le seul à quitter le restaurant, d'autres clients n'ont pas eu cette patience et sont partis.

Πολύ αργή εξυπηρέτηση. Έφτασα στο μέρος και ζήτησα τραπέζι, μου είπαν ότι δεν είχαν. Τηλεφώνησα στην επιχείρηση και μου είπαν ότι έχουν. Έφτασα στο εστιατόριο και μετά από μιάμιση ώρα αναμονής το δείπνο δεν είχε σερβιριστεί. Το εστιατόριο άδειαζε και ούτε ο μειωμένος αριθμός πελατών δεν ήταν αρκετός για να επιταχύνει την εξυπηρέτηση. Πήγα στο ταμείο και πλήρωσα το μπουκάλι χωρίς να έχω τελειώσει το κρασί μου και έφυγα. Μου φάνηκε παράλογο, καθώς ποτέ δεν χρειάστηκε να περιμένω τόσο πολύ για να με εξυπηρετήσουν σε γνωστό εστιατόριο της πόλης.
