We searched online for a great place to eat and drove from a nearby beach to Michalis tavern. On the positive side, there are two parking spot right next to it and we were lucky to get one. Menu has lots of things, prices are slightly more expensive than normal. We got a salad, shrimp saganaki, fried calamari, fries, garlic bread and a steak. Portions are big and we were just two. The young, cute waitress was smiley and friendly. On the negative side, the dishes arrived around half an hour after we ordered but maybe there was a misunderstanding and the waitress thought that's what we preferred. Shrimp saganaki should have more shrimps. Along with the drinks, we paid €29 each.

I recently dined at this restaurant, hoping to enjoy a taste of authentic Greek food, but was met with one of the worst culinary experiences I’ve ever had. The cheese pies were not only frozen but also burned, a clear indication of poor preparation. The gyro was equally disappointing—overly oily, soft, and clearly microwaved, leaving an unappetizing and greasy aftertaste. The quality of the food was not only subpar but embarrassing for both the island and the reputation of Greek hospitality. If you’re looking for a true taste of Greece, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. This experience was a letdown in every sense of the word.

We visited the place because of good ratings but regretted it, the waitress was kind and friendly that's why I give 2stars but the food was the worst we had on the island, lamb chops were soo cheewy, it was a disgrace for the food, low quality french fries with unripe tomato and dried out old raw cabbage probably a days old, the fish was extremely salty, squid mushy and oily, chicken gyros dry and salty, the so called bread.... Please don't fall into that trap to order it.... Unfortunately I don't recommend it, not worth it. Hope it helps Didn't take photos, was too...
