We searched online for a great place to eat and drove from a nearby beach to Michalis tavern. On the positive side, there are two parking spot right next to it and we were lucky to get one. Menu has lots of things, prices are slightly more expensive than normal. We got a salad, shrimp saganaki, fried calamari, fries, garlic bread and a steak. Portions are big and we were just two. The cheese pies were not only frozen but also burned, a clear indication of poor preparation. The gyro was equally disappointing—overly oily, soft, and clearly microwaved, leaving an unappetizing and greasy aftertaste.

Read moreWe visited the place because of good ratings but regretted it, the waitress was kind and friendly that's why I give 2stars but the food was the worst we had on the island, lamb chops were soo cheewy, it was a disgrace for the food,low quality french fries with unripe tomato and dried out old raw cabbage probably a days old, the fish was extremely salty, squid mushy and oily, chicken gyros dry and salty, the so called bread....
