Really nice view. Food was just ok, nothing special, a little bit overpriced (we have ordered the dessert and 2 drinks). The service is the main factor, that is forcing me to give this place a low note. For starters, we asked about the empty table (I hasn't been reserved) next to the view point (it was one of many) but heared that unless we are willing to order multiple main coureses, we can' sit there (it was ridiculous because it was 9 p.m. - who would ate that much at that time?). My wife was pregnant and we received the table, next to the smoking guy. We have waited 5+ minutes to even receive the menu (as we have found later, we received only 1 of 3 existing cards, because rest supposedly was not available). We next had to wait more than 10 minutes, to even make an order. We also heared that we can't order the coffe drink, even though literally 5 min earlier someone received exactly that drink. The order was delivered in the reasonable time, but it started to get dark - waiters were (I suppose randomly) putting lamps on the tables, but we haven't received one. On top of everything we were waiting ~20 min for someone to let us pay, finally no-one came and we had to walk to the desk ourselves. Overall, it is way better to go to their competition. If we hadn't made the order we would have left. From start waiters were behaving like under no circumstances you should give them a tip. As a customer I felt...
Read more30 euros for just 2 glasses of ouzo with lemonade and two small side plates of finger-food!? What an absolute joke and tourist trap this place has become. It was close for many months and now it has reopened for the touristic season (from what I am guessing there has been a change in management since I’m a local and a regular costumer for many years there and I didn’t see any familiar face). Half of their umbrellas were broken so we were under the sun all the time. The portions for ouzo were half from what it used to be. When I asked to tell us where did that 30-euro price came from (since we though it was a mistake) their attitude was like “here we go again with those people”. So, two ouzo-lemonades with one plate of finger food were 20-euro and exactly the same finger food plate separately was 10 euro! We are talking about a few fries, one tomato slice, 2 meatballs, and some cheese and in their menus, it says it’s a portion for 2 people! What an absolute joke. Such a shame for one of the most beautiful spots in Corfu, that is once again ruined by people who think tourists are their golden ticket to get rich in 3 months and therefore there is also no motivation to do even the bare minimum, and as for the locals who cares, because either we are close in the winter or either we change the prices to be normal again then. Do your wallets and dignity a favor and save yourselves from that...
Read moreBeen there with a tourist bus, a 30-min stop, arrived at arround 9:30 in a Saturday morning. First, we waited for starting their activity, they saw us (about 15-20 people), a bit of indifference from their side. Then, when we wanted to use the toilet, they told bothof them were closed for repairs and send us to the next restaurant, where they had 1 EUR charge. So ladies went to the other restaurant toilet, while men sit in the queue for coffee. :) As we had short time, we took to go coffee and we sit to the tables hoping we can enjoy the wonderful view at least 5 minutes before bus departure time. Then one of the staff member came to told us we cannot sit at the table if we have coffee to go. At that time it was only our bus in the parking. That's the facts, the view is awesome, but the entire experience was very low due their attitude. Maybe for locals are more friendly. Won't reccomend it for tourists, or at least set your expectations down, if your guides put this caffe in your programs. Just to know, in front of this there is another caffe with same nice view, maybe the...
