La Veranda Di Corfu — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

First of all, I hope our server remembers us. So me and my partner came on our third night, but I was ill with sun stroke, and I’d lost my appetite therefore I couldn’t eat my dinner/didn’t like it. Our server was also very accommodating to me, offering complimentary jäger and assuring me that they will try to help as much as possible. My partner insisted we came back on our last night because she enjoyed it and wanted me to experience it when I was feeling better. To start, the service was unlike anything we’d ever had before, so professional and it felt like our server and the hostess on the night made a genuine effort with us, remembering our names and taking a genuine interest in where we were from in England/what we do in life. Complimentary bread, olive oil, and olive paste which I still think about to this day, and for mains we both had the chicken churasco, which was again unreal. Sat at the Bar on the top terrace. late in the evening before the sun was setting., Had just visited the monastery and cane up here to appreciate the views. Watched a couple of jets come in to land. Service was exceptional, left us in peace but attentive when they were needed. Some polite conversation. Cocktails were awesome, good value considering the location.

It was not the first time, 3 persons order for starters roasted squid two were ok but mine was not good at all it was like caoutchouc .
