La Casa Mediterranean Resturant — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

My husband ate here and had the chicken with mushroom sauce and the chicken was dry a bland and so was the mushroom sauce.. he said it was really horrible. He also ordered the calamari to go and it probably just wasn’t fresh because of the weather but it was also tasteless and not good and the fries weren’t good either. My husband wanted an old fashion but they didn’t have have either. This place just looks pretty. He said the service wasn’t great either. I wouldn’t recommend. Hopefully there’s better places in Dassia to eat.

We wanted to try this place out as it was close to our hotel and great reviews. We were expecting to have the grilled prawns we had ordered (as per some of the reviews we had seen) but we received the prawns in sauce - yes the waitress at the time of ordering did say it would come in cream. We thought it would be grilled prawns on shell with the sauce on top so that error is on us and not on the restaurant at all. Having said that, the food was very very delicious to the point that we would order the dish again knowingly. First night eating here in Dassia and a pleasant evening. Was recommended this place from a blog I read. Food was good, started with the squid and salad and it was great. Highly recommended the grilled squid. My daughter then had the village veal and I had the chicken skewers. Veal was lovely but the chicken was a small helping and quite dry.
