The Gyro Spot — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

MUST TRY RESTAURANT! In my opinion the title is missing the word "excellent": Excellent Gyros Spot! The food is delicious, the people are welcoming, kind and funny, and it doesn't hurt that the price is so affordable too! We stayed in Benitses six days and we ate there 3 times but I wish it was more! I already miss their gyros pita :( Very good vegetarian variations too in a town where there aren't many who caters to this diet. They take very good care to not contaminate the veggie options which is unexpectedly considerate given how much effort it requires in a busy kitchen. Don't miss out on this small gem if you're around! P.S. We loved the mushroom pita so much the owner gave us their recipe for the gyros inspired mushrooms. We're not spilling the secret, though so you'll have to try them...

What a great addition for Benitses foodies. Super and diverse menu and vegans are well catered for which is unusual in a Gyros type take away. Friendly and fast service and fresh tasty food. You can see how proud the owners are and are happy to tell you all about their menu choices. The meat was exceptionally tasty and juicy. It may be a tiny venue but it delivers a big result. They're open all day until 11 in the evening so handy for lunches to take to the beach too! We loved it here and will return as often as possible....
