Oi Oraies Benitses — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

It's difficult to say enoug about this culneray delight. After arriving on the island of corfu for a ten day break , my partner and I tried a few restaurants, all satisfactory, until we found Oi Oraies. This is when the game changed to our delight. On arrival ,after booking a table for eight , we were greeted by the manager/ owner. He showed us to our table, and immediately we noticed the attention to detail. The first meal was pear and prosciutto with blue cheese, appetizer, followed by rissott with truffle oil, and carbonara. The wines were brought to the table, three offerings, of which all were explained. We went with his choice , and not disappointed. We returned for another three amazing meals, steak from Ireland , accompanied by more wine suggested by our host again , we were blow away. Each experience equaling the last. Wonderful experience at the family-run restaurant in Corfu, Greece! It's clear that the restaurant provided both a professional and warm atmosphere, which is a great combination. It's also very clean, as that's always important when it comes to dining out.

Most importantly, the quality of the food was excellent and that we enjoyed it immensely. The fact that everything we ate, tasted heavenly, and is high praise indeed. It's always a great sign when a restaurant can provide delicious food that truly impresses its guests.

Finally, it's wonderful that the family running the restaurant provided a great sense of unity and very pleasant environment. Our experience was so exceptional that you feel it deserves 10 stars!

What a find🤩 10/10

Everything here is completely home made and you can taste it in every bite.

We had a starter of Grilled Octopus and Grilled king prawns. Cooked absolutely perfectly (no slimey octopus like you find some places).

But before the starters that we were treated to the owners wifes homemade tomato paste, and bread accompanied with salt and Chilli. doesn't sound amazing right, wrong !! Its bloody incredible. And ask how she makes it , wow, so much effort to create that stuff but so worth it.

For our mains we had the cod bianco and the lamb kleftico and both were delicious.

Dessert was Baklava (oh my days, it is out of this world ) and the profiteroles (equally delicious ) the perfect end to an incredible meal.

I must also add, the no pressure approach of the staff in allowing us all the time to browse the menu, walk away to check out other menus along the avenue and on our return welcome us back and served us with the most incredible and attentive service, was really really...
