Excellent food and service! Our first time at Mavros Xoiros (black swine in Greek) over lunch in August. Being a weekday it wasn’t too busy, although people kept coming during our time there. The lovely girl serving was polite, helpful and on the ball. We had barely ordered when the ice cold beer arrived, followed by starters. Everything we tried was great (this from a family of 4 including 2 teens who also have the thumbs up). We got the Greek salad, the saganaki and the mytilini cheese melted, wrapped in crust and topped with sesame and honey. I couldn’t get enough of it. We also got the tigania (fry up) of chicken , peppers, onions. Delicious. As was the pork chop (spalomprizola). We will definitely be coming back. Well done...

However, after sitting down the hospitality and food was amazing. The owner - Alex was very patient and answered all of our questions and served us our food. He was very knowledgeable and even helped provide advice on boat tours. The food was amazing, everyone liked the lamb sovlaki and the homemade milk pudding (it was on the house!) was just perfect.
