The best brioche I ever had (better than French - sorry but it's true)!

This bakery was recommended by the receptionist at the hotel nearby. Everything I tried in this bakery was really good. But it was the biscuits that bowled me over. I bought a smaller packet each of the almond and the sesame, brought home in London and tried a piece. They meant to be shared in the office. I am afraid they would not be going anywhere but into my mouth. Why did I not buy 2 bigger packets!?

I wish this bakery would make the sweet Kalitsounia pies (the deepfried savoury ones were available). It would...

I tried to go there 3 times but because of the rudeness of the sales women I could not get to buy anything!!! They don't respect the line, they serve first their friends with whom they hug and chat profusely, then local people - a man screamed his order from the car and the girls run to serve him- and foreigners for last. When I tried to ask to the sales woman if there was perhaps a number to take for the line, as clearly it didn't matter for them that I was standing politely with my little hungry daughter waiting for my turn, she replied very rudely to me that it was not true. NEVER AGAIN to this place! Customer care in Greece is still an obscure concept, unfortunately.

προσπάθησα να πάω εκεί 3 φορές αλλά λόγω της αγένειας των γυναικών πωλητών δεν μπόρεσα να αγοράσω τίποτα!!! Δεν σέβονται τη γραμμή, σερβίρουν πρώτα τους φίλους τους με τους οποίους αγκαλιάζονται και κουβεντιάζουν άφθονα, μετά ντόπιους - ένας άντρας ούρλιαξε την παραγγελία του από το αυτοκίνητο και τα κορίτσια τρέχουν να τον εξυπηρετήσουν - και τέλος ξένους. Όταν προσπάθησα να ρωτήσω την πωλήτρια αν υπήρχε ίσως ένας αριθμός να πάρει για τη γραμμή, καθώς σαφώς δεν είχε σημασία για εκείνους που στεκόμουν ευγενικά με τη μικρή μου πεινασμένη κόρη περιμένοντας τη σειρά μου, μου απάντησε πολύ αγενώς εμένα ότι δεν ήταν αλήθεια. ΠΟΤΕ ΞΑΝΑ σε αυτό το μέρος! Η εξυπηρέτηση πελατών στην Ελλάδα είναι ακόμα μια σκοτεινή...

My favorite bakery in Chania — and the world! Cappuccinos are amazing (made my Mya, who is a master at her craft!), olive breads are fresh, light & so tasty. I could eat the traditional sandwiches & Turkey croissant sandwiches everyday. This female run establishment is of top quality. Do yourself a favor & go enjoy. Thank you, Bakery...
