On a rainy Saturday night we had a good dinner at this nice and warm establishment which seemed to be favored by many locals, mainly for drinks rather than for dining.
The dishes that we had (2 specials) were prepared from quality ingredients. Ravioli, from pancheri pasta filled with angus beef in white bland (but borderline tasteless) sauce and a breaded “meatballs looking” special filled with a mix of chestnuts and mushrooms in (again) the same bland and tasteless sauce.
Green salad was excellent though with various tasty ingredients.
All male staff was attentive, polite and professional although at times overwhelmed by communication with the kitchen by noticeable earpieces - one wasn’t sure if they are focused on taking an order or following audio messages from the kitchen.
The negative part of our visit was the music - too loud techno music. This doesn’t seem to be a place to have a good conversation or hear each other without having to yell at each other. For dinner I had the Rucola pizza I think it was, local pork, cheese, figs, arugula.. was a great combination! Staff were polite and attentive, bathrooms were clean, and food...
Read moreThey changed their menus. I tried the simple burger. New recipe of burgers? They are dry, uninspiring. smaller in size and with different potatoes (the original was potato wedges). Not even pickles inside. If you want bacon its a +1.50€ whooping price up. Chicken burger costs 9€ and was also a failure. BIG MINUS: They allow smoking 🚬 inside, breaking the law and making atmosphere filled with smoke, disgusting and unhealthy. After talking to the waiter about this they said they have windows (!) And that he cannot do anything about is as the management accepts that. This used to be one of my favorite places....
