La Prima — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

I am not over exaggerating when writing this feedback but it has to be done as a response to our experience. Me and my husband ordered two pasta because I looked first at the reviews at it looked all good for me. The pasta was so so disgusting and it not ok to call food like this but I don't have other proper word for that. I had a first bite and I had difficulties to swallow it it was just disgusting sorry. My husband took a bite too and looked at me with the same face I had. He said his pasta tastes like ketchup mine was like from an instant noodle pack. We both have it back and we didn't pay for it but it is not normal when both pastas are not enjoyable to eat. The place had one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Our party was large and we ordered many things and everyone loved everything. The pizzas had good amount of filling and pizza crust was great. The pasta dishes were large portions. The service was excellent. We were seated by the coner beside of the road and it fitted with us perfectly. The temperature of the place was perfect for sitting around, eating and talking. The volume of the music was just right so you could enjoy the relaxes atmosphere and also talk with people. Was recommended to Come here for pizza. Do not expect anything authenticity Italian but food was quite ok. Without asking for it we had a basket of bread delivered to our table which we of course thought was complimentary. Further , the patron took some delight in berating us when we enquired why we were charged almost €10 for the bread! Food came out at vastly different times. One pizza was missing entirely!
