Food 3 stars but the owners are fantastic & great hospitality, so 1 extra star for them. We had very average grilled prawns which were obviously frozen then cooked, because the hard shell was almost impossible to peel away, with the flesh sticking to it & this happens with frozen prawns. It was fiddly & difficult, however the salad that came with it had a home made dressing that was soooooo good! I wish I'd asked for the recipe. Hot chips were also fabulous. Cocktails were excellent & their raki is the best I had across the entire Agia Marina area, it was sweet & smooth served chilled so it went down like a warming liqueur. The Greek salad lacked as much feta as you would normally expect, the tomatoes were warm. We were asked whether we'd pay cash or card before the food even came and I can't help but feel stating cash was a means to extract more than necessary (€50 for 2 X Greek salad, 2x chips, 1 x fried courgette, 1x draught beer, 1 X coke, 2x small sparkling water). Read moreWe are a couple visiting casa di mare. The restaurant offers free sunbeds for lunch customers. The atmosphere is nice, around 20 tables. Very friendly, professional staff. I had a casa di mare special salad, with figs, walnuts rocket lettuce, iceberg salad pieces of fresh orange and a lovely honey sauce. My woman had the casa special omelet. Fresh fries, lettuce tomato and ham and cheese. Both dishes was wonderful, very tasty and fresh. We are definitely coming back here.
Thank you casa di mare...
