We have been in agia marina/platanias for almost two weeks and finally stumbled across this beautiful restaurant thanks to the TA users.
Nobody is ever perfect on everything (except my wife ) but this is very close.
The meal was great. My wife had a Greek plate and I had a local dish that I couldn't pronounce... Began with G... And that was great too... The waiter, when asked by my wife what various things where that she was eating, explained everything from the origin of the name to how it was cooked.
We had the usual 1/2 ltr of House white wine and a bottle of water...
Whilst waiting for our meal to go down before ordering our espresso we saw one of the staff offer and take an elderly lady, her daughter and granddaughter back to their hotel... Brownie points by the bucket load in my opinion...
Anyway, the espresso was good strong and tasty and with a bit of raki added it hit the spot...
So... Starters... Bread and olives Two main meals Wine Water Two espresso The raki and dessert (a small taster pot) came free
The total for the above... 31.50euro... No,ive not miss typed that or left anything out... 31.50euro...
You can't afford not to try...

We tried chicken souvlaki, pork souvlaki and a burger and all of us got beautiful, well-tasting food, fun and serviceminded staff and pribably the largest portion of food you'll ever get in Greece (maybe European record). Table beside us was a nice 80 year celebrating greek family which offered us to share a bit of birthday cakes/dessert on top of the gigantic meal and it also tasted really good. (don't know if it was from Romeos)
We would definitely go here again. The food tasted good, was nicely presented, big portions...

Complimentary water, bread rolls, the most amazing chocolate mousse and head-blowing Ouzo! Leaves you wondering how they're going to make any money. We paid €46 for starters, mains, drinks for two adults and even an ice cream dessert for our 7 year old daughter. Would definitely recommend Romeo's oven baked spaghetti, or the chicken fillet with a mushroom sauce. Both...
