Kassandra — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

We ate here as a family several times during our holiday. Each time was a party and special for our children. Lyána and Tijmen were treated super sweet and special. This made them feel very comfortable and special. Host Sparta had a click with Tijmen from the first time, who was very nice to him. The owner himself and his daughter were also working every time and super hospitable and nice with the children and us. We celebrated dinner there especially our last day of vacation. We were treated extra special and hospitable. All extras during and after dinner are also an expression of their special hospitality. If we could give more * it would certainly be 10. We went to have dinner on our first evening here. It's a family run restaurant, the owner's son warmly welcomed us inside. Very cozy setting. Everything we had was delicious. Also options for gluten free menu. Excellent tzatziki as well. Before allowing us to pay, the owner indulged us for a round of jägermeister, two rounds of raki and a free dessert. Amazing experience. We will visit this place again!!!

Edit: We went here second time on our last evening. Food was great once again. I had pizza which was amazing, my girlfriend asked for gluten free salmon pasta and she said it was the best food in Crete so far. Once again very warm service from staff and they even gave aloe vera plant for a bee sting for my girlfriend.

Nothing but love for this place and all their staff. We will visit again next time we come...

Absolutely fabulous place for a meal, cannot fault it in any way (apart that they were closed one night - Tuesday- lol) I suppose everyone deserves a night off 😂😂 The staff and atmosphere are second to none. The food is delicious ❤️ portions are a very good size. Between us we tried : Tomato soup, stuffed mushrooms, sausages, cheesy garlic bread, pizzas, spaghetti bolognaise, pork steak, carbonara, mixed grill, lamb and many more I can’t remember the names of.
