We came were for the seafood and got much more than expected. We got one Dakos as appetizer (1 was enough for 2 people). For the main, we went with the suggested fresh tuna and I was fixated on the grilled octopus. Ok, the tuna was reeeeaaally good, but saying that the octopus was great does not do justice to the chef. With the risk of sounding cliché, it was the best octopus I have had so far (in my life). There you go, I‘ve said it. Now give it a try yourself 😆. The dessert was also unexpectedly good - we had kantaifi with ice cream. Again, one was enough for 2 people to share. We received the complimentary watermelon (super sweet 😬) and raki. Very nice touch to a great dinner.

The service was great - arrived a bit late for sunset, but got seated to a seaside view table, after a bit of waiting. All the staff (4 of them that we interacted with) were kind, helpful and friendly. We...

This is the best place to eat and spend a day on the beach in the whole Agia marina. Free sunbeds for customers, excellent and truly home made greek cuisine for very reasonable prices make it very special family run taverna. We tried the food in other places but it was never so tasty so authentic and so delicious, so we kept returning everyday. I have never eaten calamari so soft and fresh. Owners mom runs the kitchen and she has all the traditional greek know-how to make the food pure and simple yet so tasy! Service is outstanding, they really make you feel welcome and after a week we felt like we are at home there! There is also a small playground for kids where they can play while you are enjoying a spectacular and romantic sunset. We were there in the beginning of July but Paliria is the reason we decided to come back to Agia in...

The food was very good, we saw some tables free at the seaview, we just arrive and ask to move closer to sea But they Said îs reserved.. they keep good tables for old people (not for younger who can promote the restaurant 😁) and we ask for a mix grill Seafood ( in the menu îs mix grill meat) But we Said clear Seafood (we are first time in this restaurant they can ask twice if dont understand ) and bring us meat mix grill, when I saw it, I told the waiter that we asked for Seafood and he claimed that we did not ask for Seafood and that this is the ordered plate and that he has nothing to do with that plate, after a heated discussion and a lot of convincing he changed in the end, but he wanted to specify that it would take a long time until it was ready, and in fact in 10 minutes it was brought...

We tried a few tavernas and cafes during our stay in Agia Marina; this one is, by far, the best. Food is fresh and homemade. Their grilled octopus is delicious! Tip: Order it with homemade pita bread to enjoy the tasty juice. The owners are incredibly hospitable and friendly without being pushy. Their Greek coffee is the best one we tried around. Besides the usual, their beverage list offers a delicious Greek fizzy drink, gazooza (hopefully I got the spelling right), which our kids loved. Their service is excellent, and the sea views are complimented by palm tree-leaves parasols with comfortable sunbeds. Highly recommend!!!
