Terpsi — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

The chicken dish at Terpsi restaurant was disappointing.

The portion size was large, but when eaten the chicken pieces were undercooked, so there was no taste at all. In addition, the sauce was too salty, which spoiled the whole dish. But worst of all was the waitress, who behaved in a totally inappropriate manner. She jumped from table to table like a circus performer and did not leave the customers alone to enjoy their meal. This behaviour was extremely disturbing and unprofessional. On entering the restaurant, we expected a peaceful dinner, but instead we were met with commotion and discomfort. I would recommend avoiding Terpsi restaurant both because of the chicken dish and the behaviour of the waitress. This was one of my worst restaurant experiences and I hope no one has to go through...

Place seemed nice until we ordered and after ordering heard them chatting in the kitchen about the shrimp saganaki that we’d asked for. Plain saganaki came out. When questioned it was implied that we had ordered that. We were with our young children so didn’t want bring up we’d heard them talking. We would have appreciated a simple ‘we don’t have it’ rather then being lied to. We also ordered lamb kleftiko which came out as a filo lamb pie. I have been to Greece many times and this is my favourite dish. Again, if not available just say, we were told that this is the way they do it traditionally?? We are decent people so did not kick up a fuss. The waiting staff were good with our kids. The issue we had is the lack of respect and lying that took place. Not the way to entice...

Absolutely horrific service, My Sister In law ordered chicken. A piece of it was raw. We tried to tell the waiter politely. Which ended up In him screaming at us to get out and so on. I tried to tell him that I'm worried that someone might get sick. We had to pay no matter what. He even told us he checked the chicken(which btw was spit out In tissues by two People Who tasted the chicken so i doubt it he tasted it to know If it was raw). The whole piece was not raw, just some of it. Also bearnaise was watery. If you don't want to get yelled at or sick....
