Kri-Kri Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Chania

This is one of the best restaurants in Crete, Greece. The menu is amazing, all local food is really special and the quantity /portion is large!! The staff is so friendly and they would even advise you about the menu and help you choose the best. We were so pleased with the overall experience that we had to go twice.

Their kri kri salad is really special, much better than other Greek restaurants in chania, Stalos (we tried in so many other restaurants but their was the best) We tried : grilled sword fish, sea food platter, chicken gyros, stuffed vegetables, chicken souvlaki, melted cheese pot.. The placed looked great busy, so ok this place must be good, sitting down with menu waited quite a while, service was terrible specially when food isn't cheap, I asked question about food at was given answer very rude, as if I asked for caviar, anyway I ordered seafood main and great it came out very quickly, which sound good but when to quickly you know it isn't fresh, small portion of chips, and calamari was greasy, so you can tell it's reheated, I am so upset, of Crete, and attitude of service within the restaurant s, I go to Skiathos normally and it's 200% better shame never...

Esperienza pessima sin dal primo momento. Riassunto veloce: TEMPI BIBLICI, cibo mediocre e SERVIZIO PESSIMO. Ci siamo seduti ed il cameriere è stato insistente nel prenderci l'ordine nonostante abbiamo chiesto del tempo per decidere cosa prendere, presentandosi per due volte al tavolo a distanza di nemmeno un minuto. La velocità nel servizio è finita qua perché dal momento in cui ci siamo seduti prima di vedere gli ANTIPASTI sono passati 55 minuti. CINQUANTACINQUE dannati minuti per portare due piatti nonostante fosse un giorno infrasettimanale ed il locale fosse mediamente pieno! Ma non è finita signori e signore, perché quando finalmente è arrivata la portata principale e posizionata sul tavolo, mi è stata letteralmente tolta davanti dicendo dalla cameriera che aveva sbagliato e che lo stesso piatto era destinato ai clienti seduti accanto ed ARRIVATI DOPO di noi! Mai visto fare prima d'ora. Da tanto che la cucina era lenta i vari camerieri stavano in piedi a fissare i tavoli (tant'è che una ha annunciato a gran voce che andava in pausa), mentre gli ospiti lanciavano sguardi speranzosi verso qualsiasi piatto venisse portato in sala, lasciandoci intuire che non eravamo i soli in quella situazione. La birra che mi è stata portata immediatamente è diventata calda ed imbevibile ovviamente, e nonostante abbiamo chiesto un assaggio di un liquore locale (non raki), sperando che ci venisse offerto almeno quello, ci è stata ADDEBITATA L'INTERA BOTTIGLIA, che abbiamo dovuto portare via.
