Mythos — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

The food was ok, not bad, but also nothing special (except the Greek salad, which was the best I've tried on the island). However, the service and the atmosphere is ruined by a waiter (I guess the owner), who is running around and somehow making a stressy environment. There was no possibility to slowly enjoy our dinner as he was running around the table and bringing/removing dishes like on the factory line. It felt like we were in a fast food, not a calm restaurant. Although I read bad reviews, I wanted to get convinced by myself. There were 2 girls working there, one behind a bar, and one kitchen, and their faces looked so sad and exhausted - which was no wonder at all with a boss like that. At the end, we didn't leave hungry, but the experience itself was not...

What's is not to love about this place. We ate here many times during our holiday, the staff couldn't be friendlier and they couldn't do enough, its a real family owned and run restaurant.

The food was on the table within 15mins even when busy and the drinks topped before the last mouth full. It tasted utterly sublime, especially the souvalaki and tsatsiki which was heaven on a plate and so light tasting.

It's perfectly located on the corner in the centre of the beautiful village where you relax and watch the world go by with the occasional glance to amazing views of Hersonissos and the sea down below, it's even more of a treat at night.

Nice traditional Greek restaurant, with a wonderful atmosphere and welcoming vibe. Upon sitting down in the restaurant I was immediately hit with the smells of different dishes from the kitchen. With a quick glance at the menu I had to try the different starters they had to offer ( ordered 90% of the starters from the menu) and some mains to share with friends. The food was fresh and the variety they had to offer of authentic Greek food was a sensation for the pallet.
