Pita Point — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

Having seen good reviews, we chose this place for our first gyros on our holiday. We ordered the pork gyros portion each, with a generous amount of tsatziki (having skipped breakfast and lunch). We got our beers promptly, and, a short time later, we got our food. Initially, it looked amazing, with the exception of the disproportionately small amount of tsatziki. We then found that when we delved into the gyros, there was just a covering of it over the fries, as well as half the plate solely being fries. The ratio must have been 70% fries to gyros. The tsatziki was soon depleted, necessitating extra being ordered. The €3 portion that I received, after a wait of more than 10 minutes, was around 4 times more that the original amount on our plates.

The gyros was quite nice but the experience completely ruined by the reluctance to provide a good amount of tsatziki, and the smoke and mirrors show...

This place is great! Went here 10yrs ago with the whole family, almost every day, because the food is super delicious. Service also and always with a smile! - Returned this year to Crete and to visit Pita Point again, and nothing has changed (in a good way). The food is still as delicious as I remember and the service is still amazing. Waiting time for the food is also not long and the prices are ideal and cheap compared to where I come from. Atmosphere is good, but since it's located next to two busy streets, there's always noise coming from the motorcycles, but it's not a big bother. Would recommend everyone to go here if you're nearby, you won't regret it! - Pita Point for always...

Wonderful food & very reasonably priced. This place had great “curb appeal”, we drove through the town to our hotel and spied this immediately as a “want to try that”. We were greeted by friendly, English speaking staff (who were very patient as I tried some Greek!). We ordered the basic pork gyros (regular size) and two of us paid less than €10 total. It was freshly cooked, beautifully flavoured and just spot on. Loved it! It was very filling but a decent portion not to be overwhelming. Restaurant was clean and tidy with a good menu, very reasonably priced, and lovely staff. 100%...
