Marina — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

If you want to feel at home and be treated like a member of the family, you’ve come to the right place. The owner of the taverna is a wonderful, warm-hearted man who will gladly serve you a delicious meal.

We spent a week in Analipsi and ate at Marina four times. On the other days, we were traveling around the island — that’s the only reason we regret it was just four visits. The food was delicious — from the salads and appetizers to the kids’ menu (the pizza was amazing 😍) and meat dishes. The portions were generous and made with love.

After each meal, the owner would surprise us with a complimentary dessert (fruit, ice cream, or yogurt) and an extra glass of alcohol, never refusing to join in a toast. Both we and our children absolutely loved being there.

On our last day, we had a long chat and took a photo together — a wonderful souvenir of our time there.

While we stayed at the Venus Mare Apartments in Analipsis in Octobre, I and my wife had several wonderful experiences in The Marina, a family restaurant in Analipsis. The traditional greek lamb chops were delicious, and the Rib Eye steaks were tender and rosé cooked exactly as we had ordered What made our visits to the Marina especially unique, was Manolis', the owner's, attentive and caring hospitality. Apart from serving the food fast, efficiently and expertly and giving us good advice about wine to go with it, Manolis had time to talk with us about life in Analipsis and to give us advice about how to go to the romantic Spinalonga Island on our own. On the last night of our stay in Analipsis, Manolis postponed closing down the Marina for the winter season for us and kept it open, so we could finish our holiday in Analipsis in the best way possible at...

The owner and the waiters are very nice and polite. The prices are very good and the portions.. let's just say you should go there when you are very hungry 😆 we ordered a meal for two, which was a course of 10 separate things, and they were brought gradually. At aome point we were thinking to ourselves that this will never end and we will be eating the whole night (for only 30€!!!). The meat was very delicious and well seasoned. Literally first time in my life, when I enjoyed every single dish that was brought to the table in a restaurant!
