Ridiculously high prices for these portions but that was not the main issue.

I ordered chicken with pasta and cream. They brought the plate without cream, and without asking or even informing me that. It was not that good also for 14 euros.

We ordered a salad that the waiter specifically told us it had manouri cheese in it, which we are fan of. Instead it had normal Feta, a cheese I personally hate.

We ordered an octopus with Fava. My father is obsessed with Fava and we ordered this dish just for that. We asked if they had available before ordering and the waiter told us : "yes, of course we have" . There was no Fava available though and instead of asking us if we would like to get something else instead of this, they decided to bring us the octopus alone without even saying anything. At first we thought Fava was coming on a different plate but after some minutes passed we decided to ask the waiter. He informed us that there was no Fava available, and hence they brought us the octopus alone. We kindly told him that we have ordered this specific plate just for this reason, and after him hearing that, he offered to not charge us for the plate. We accepted to keep it because of that, or we would have returned it back. When we asked for the bill, the whole plate was charged. This is why I decided to go and pay to the specific waiter we have talked about the matter before. I reminded him what we have said previously, and he said ok while putting the amount in the POS. Despite saying ok, just 5 seconds later, they only charged us 4 euros less, instead of 14 that was the plates cost. Whatever we told them, they did not seem to care.

Classic Greek way to take you money in the short term, but of course if I was living in Samos I wouldn't go again, nor I will suggest it to anyone. Thank God, the president was paying for that...

My girlfriend and I chose Elia Restaurant based on positive reviews on Google. We were really craving a fish platter, so we decided to try this lovely restaurant. When the chef took our order, he said they were currently out of certain ingredients (including octopus). However, after he assured us he could put together a platter, we were looking forward to it. For our starter, we ordered the number 1 item on the menu (bread with dips and olives). The table next to us, who arrived much later, received their starter much earlier. Olives came with the bread we ordered, but no dip. When we asked for an ashtray, it didn't arrive. After waiting about 45 minutes, our fish platter arrived, and we couldn't believe our eyes. This fish platter would only feed one person at most. There wasn't enough fish on the platter for two people, and some of the accompanying fish dishes were missing. Since the chef had announced this beforehand, we hoped that the missing fish would be replaced with other varieties. Unfortunately, they didn't arrive. When the bill came, our jaws dropped. He charged us full price for this small and incomplete portion! Only after we confronted him about it, and he became uncomfortable, did he reduce the price of the fish platter. Unfortunately, we weren't satisfied and, given the poor service, cannot recommend...

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Elia Restaurant and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Situated right next to the sea in the beautiful town of Pythagoreio, Samos, the location alone is worth the visit.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and seated at a table with a stunning view of the port. The menu is impressive, featuring a range of dishes that highlight fresh, local ingredients.

The service was top! Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. They provided excellent recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. The restaurant itself is charming, with an elegant vibe that makes it perfect for a lunch or dinner by the sea.

Overall, Elia is a must-visit if you find yourself in Pythagoreio. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and an unbeatable seaside location made for a memorable lunch. I can't wait to return! Highly...
