Agora Samos — Restaurant in Municipality of Eastern Samos

After a long day of beach adventures and sightseeing, we were absolutely famished when we woke up from a nap at our Airbnb, only to find it was already 11 PM. Desperate for a good meal, we headed to the town center, only to find most restaurant kitchens closed. That's when we stumbled upon Agora, and it turned out to be a blessing.

Agora welcomed us with open arms and kindly accepted us for dinner at midnight, a gesture we deeply appreciated. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the service was quick. Their menu features a delightful selection of Greek and Turkish cuisine favorites, which left us excited to come back for another meal at a more reasonable hour.

The location of Agora is another highlight, offering stunning views of the sea that add to the overall dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. We can't wait to return!

We waited for 1.5+ hours on our food. What we received really wasn't up to par sadly. The red wine was good, got to give them that. The calamari was dry and the fries were soggy and also at the same time dry.

The kebab with yoghurt was dreadful, soo much yoghurt on top of soggy, burned pita. There were 12 fries and 12 pieces of kebab on top of it. Which meant you could get 12 bites of kebab in a whole main meal. It felt like an appetizer, one of the two bell peppers were cremated, not edible anymore.

After confronting the waitress with it she acknowledged it and took it back to the "kebab specialised Turkish chef".

There were also people behind us waiting for 1-1.5 hours who had not been served food yet and plenty of people around us with empty glasses. Not a good place to eat, at...

I had an unforgettable experience at Agora Samos Restaurant. I was fascinated by the fact that they presented unique Aegean flavors at the highest level. It was really admirable that the olive oil dishes were fresh and delicious and the appetizers were carefully prepared. Also, seafood options also made them feel fresh and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional, their service was great.
