Very attractive place at the harbour of Pythagorion. Comfortable sitting corner and fine wine list. Impressive choice of sushi, cheese and charcuterie but just returning from a heavy dinner not feeling to order any food. We ordered a bottle of our favorite rosé, priced €42. (Price at the liquor store: €14) Took a while before it was served, nothing came with it. To my question if there were some nuts or crisps the answer was “We are a restaurant, you can order something from the menu”. Sign on the wall says Solon WINE BAR. Unbelievable to serve wine 3 times the price without being accompanied by anything as small such as peanuts or a few olives or bread sticks, whatever! Doesn’t cost you anything, makes a big difference for your guests though. Would’ve drank the whole bottle and most probably would’ve ordered some cheese after a few glasses.
