Mandatory edit after restaurant’s much anticipated response: I never ever asked anyone to go search through trash bin. It was your waitress IN THE FIRST PLACE telling me “go ahead and look for it in the trash can” Have some respect for people. I repeat, you are a disgrace.
Worst service, worst attitude ever. Do not recommend AT ALL. They ruined the whole night for us with their arrogant attitude. The waitress took a pack of cigarettes while cleaning the table “by mistake” and (allegedly) threw it away. We asked for it, no response. Asked for it again and the response was “sorry it is now in the garbage bin, you can look for it if you want in the trash can” They refused to help in all possible ways. Seeing their terrible attitude, we asked them to deduce it from the bill and, of course, the worst attitude again (throwing bottle caps our way!) This is completely outrageous and unacceptable. Samos is a beautiful island and there are many other lovely places, taverns, restaurants. This place is...
Read moreBefore arriving in Samos, we hadn't rented a car, so I looked for a place near the port where we could have lunch and swim. I found Enhorio, checked the reviews, and decided it was a good option.
My wife, two children, and I wanted to use the beach. Most sunbeds were reserved, but they managed to find us some slightly further back, which was still fine. The beachfront is a bit narrow, so the sunbeds are quite close to each other. The local beers were delicious, and they offer only drink service directly on the beach.
For lunch, there were many options. We chose Greek salad, shrimp, two plates of calamari, meat, and pasta, along with the island's local ouzo. The food was very tasty.
After swimming, we discovered there are no showers within the facility. They directed us to a public shower area at the end of the beach. Similarly, there are no changing rooms, so you have to change in the toilets. As for the prices, they're open to interpretation; you can see the menu and what we ate...
Read moreRestaurant that offers sunbeds when you take lunch at the same place. Beach is good but rather noisy and gets crowded at noon. Minimum order of 40 euros is asked (August 2024), which is an uncommon practice even for the area - most places ask you to order something for the use of the sunbeds but don't state how much; most people take lunch anyway. As this is the first thing the staff members of Enhorio come to tell you when you sit down, you rather feel like a walking purse than a valued guest. Food however is of good quality and service is quick. If you decide to visit: cell phone and internet coverage at this beach is close to non-existent due to...
