My recent visit to Faros in Pythagorio, Samos, was nothing short of a culinary debacle, underscoring a profound lapse in basic hygiene and quality control. Despite the picturesque location and seemingly inviting ambiance, the glaring oversight in maintaining sanitary standards marred our dining experience irreparably.
During our meal, we ordered two freshly squeezed orange juices, which, to our utter horror, contained small worms. This alarming discovery was not only visually repulsive but also raises grave concerns about the establishment's commitment to food safety. Such an egregious neglect of cleanliness is unacceptable and poses significant health risks to patrons.
Although the owner opted to waive the charges for our meal in light of this incident, the gesture does not mitigate the fundamental issue of maintaining a hygienic environment. It is imperative for any reputable dining establishment to adhere to stringent health regulations and ensure that every aspect of food preparation and service is conducted with the utmost care and diligence.
I urge prospective diners to exercise caution and reconsider their choice when selecting a restaurant in Pythagorio. The principle of enjoying a meal in a clean and safe environment should never be compromised. Unfortunately, Faros fell drastically short of this basic...

All very good! A friend came and had the mushroom risotto: “it’s to-die-for.” Faros is a family-run restaurant, they’ve been there for decades. The hostess, Stella, is an artist. Demetri, her brother, is kind and funny. It’s as much fun to get to know them as it is to eat here. Stella is like a mind-reader, and because she’s so good, we coined the phrase “trust...

Me and my friend (two women) came here to have food and sunbathe. Even though first the lady (owner-sister) told us that they had space, two minutes later when they realised we are Turkish, her brother came and told us that they don't have any space and he said that we should leave in a very rude manner. He then invited other customers inside. And when we asked him "You just told us you don't have space". He said "Go to another place".
For the first time in my life I have experienced racism in such open, shameless way. I didn't know these kind of people still existed on this...
